The OpenROAD project is glad to have provided support and open-sourcing bonus prizes to the 2019 edition of the CAD contest at ICCAD, a research and development competition focusing on advanced, real-world problems in the field of Electronic Design Automation (EDA). The CAD contest at ICCAD is open to multi-person teams world-wide.
The 2019 winners are:
- First Prize and open-sourcing bonus prize – Chak-Wa Pui, Jinwei Liu and Fangzhou Wang from The Chinese University of Hong Kong for their solution, CU-GR
- Second Prize and open-sourcing bonus prize – He-Teng Zhang from National Taiwan University for his solution, FIRE
- Third Prize – Daeyeon Kim and Sung-Yun Lee from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)
Bangqi Xu and Lutong Wang of UCSD, along with Alexander Volkov and Sergei Dolgov of Mentor Graphics, organized the contest. Additional support was provided by the Cadence Academic Network.
